Parade Route Change

There will be a slight change in the Parade Route this year due to the construction at N. 2nd and Locust streets in North Lawrence.

The Parade route is from South Park through Downtown across the bridge;
to Elm St. then East to North 4th St. then North to Locust St. then turns East to North 9th St. in North Lawrence.

Normal traffic flow will temporarily be detoured around the parade while crossing the bridge and then onto Locust St.
once the parade has cleared the area the normal detour will be reinstated.
Caution is urge to all parade participants: When the parade is over, float entries will have to return via the normal detour route.
Watch for LOW CLEARANCE.
All entries returning toward downtown must clear the railroad bridge Southbound between Lincoln and Locust streets on N. 2nd St.
For safety reasons we ask that no one rides on floats back through normal traffic along the detour!
