Parade Day Check-In
Entrants in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2012: Check back details may change for the 25th Parade.
We are a go!!! The parade is scheduled for its 1:00pm start time.
Come on down! Enjoy the parade! Saturday March 17th.
For safety, severe weather and lightning may result in a slight delay in the parade. Check with parade officials, be prepared, and stay in touch!
Rain showers alone are not reason for delay or cancellation.

Thank you for your participation. These are general guidelines for parade morning. If you have not been contacted before parade day, please send an email to info@lawrencestpatricksdayparade.com.
Parade day check-in will open a 9:00am on Saturday, March 17, 2012 on the South side of Liberty Memorial Central Middle School.
Please enter the Check-in via 15th and Connecticut street. All traffic traveling down 15th street will run West. You may not enter check in via Massachusetts Street.
Please follow the directions out of the Check-in location to your designated area.
The Parade will begin at South Park, 11th and Massachusetts Street heading North down Massachusetts Street. You will need to be checked in by 11:00am as the parade will begin at 1:00pm. You will be contacted and given specific instructions prior to the parade.
All drivers must stay with their vehicles at all times once they enter the staging area. Vehicles that do not have a driver who is able to move the vehicles, risk the chance of being removed from the parade.
Entry numbers need to be placed in the top passenger side corner of the vehicle. If your entry contains walkers, please have one person in the front of your group displaying the number visible for the judges.
Bicycle entries need to have one person in the front of your group displaying the number visible for the judges.
Please be aware that the staging takes place throughout residential neighborhoods.
DO NOT block driveways. Loud music is prohibited in the staging areas (wait for the parade).
Misbehavior will not be tolerated.
We need to leave one lane open with room enough for emergency vehicles.
DRIVERS MUST STAY WITH THEIR FLOATS.
Due to this years parade being the 25th year, check-in may be larger than usual. Please be aware that the check-in may take longer than previous years. Please plan accordingly.
Because the parade may be larger than previous years, please be aware that there may be multiple changes in the staging area which will require you to move your entry to accommodate the volume of entries.
DO NOT ASSUME you will stage in the same area you have in years past. Please work with the parade officials. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
Check-In Point is on 15th, turn onto 15th St. to the West from Connecticutt. There will be a Check-In Tent at that location. Check-In Time is 11am. However...Large floats, as in big trucks with trailers, need to check in early—between 9:00 and 11:00AM. Please contact a Committee Member (we will be wearing specially marked Green Safety Vests or Yellow Parade Official Jackets.)
Remember, please...
A driver must remain with your vehicle at all times!
Follow the rules in your application packet.
DO NOT throw trinkets or candy from the floats!
Keep music and volume levels down to a minimum until the parade begins!
Do not litter! We are in someone's neighborhood, be kind!
